What Does "CL" Mean?
"Checklist."
In the context of sports cards, "CL" means "checklist". The checklist card is a numbered card in the set that lists all (or a specific range) of the other cards that exist in that set. Before the internet, collectors used checklist cards to keep track of which cards they had and which cards they still needed in order to complete the full set.
